Yeast optimized sfGFP N-terminus (1-214)
This part is the N-terminus of a Yeast optimized sfGFP. It contains the 214 first amino-acids, and needs to bind the 24 amino acids long C-terminus fragment to recover fluorescence. Its goal is to provide readout in protein complementation assays, where two proteins tagged with the two termini come in conctact.
Source
It was extracted by PCR from the plasmid we ordered to addgene:44901 pFA6a-link-yoSuperfolderGFP-Kan.
